Group activities and warm-up were coordinated by Dennis Chavez and Ashley Chavez; however emphasis of our program is small group with a goal of one-on-one activities whenever possible. Volunteers are instructed to use a soccer ball as the catalyst to work with participants to develop physical and social skills.
The players, parent and volunteers seemed to greatly enjoy the experience. Certificates of appreciation and a special poem were created by the parents and given to all volunteers for their efforts. Two autographed balls were given as recognition to both the men’s and women’s soccer teams for their participation.
