This course is dsigned to fit nicely between a youth module course and the USSF E license. The focus of the course is on the practical application of small sided games in both a training and competitive environments. Field sessions focus on technical application of skills in small sided activities as well as practical demonstration of roles of players as they relate to the U6-U12 age groups. Classroom discussion includes basic developmental theory combined with methodology of teaching children in a 6v6-9v9 environment. Basic tactics in team shapes will be addressed as well. The course is delivered over 7 hours and can be split into two halves, over two days if necessary.
