New York State West Youth Soccer Association is pleased to offer for the second year our State Wide Centers of Excellence. The centers will be open to ALL children in the above age groups, if they are recreational or travel level players, AND REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY.

These ages are often described as the most important in the development of technical awareness. It is in these ages that NYSWYSA hopes to assist those interested and committed Soccer Players improve their individual, skill and ability.

The Centers will concentrate solely on the fundamental techniques that lead to improved individual skill, to include, Passing, Control, Heading, Dribbling, Turning[changing direction] Speed and Running with the Ball. There will be no team play or tactical aspects of the game discussed at the Centers.

Each individual will be tested in each of the categories listed for their own personal record, but not against anyone. A completion certificate will be awarded at the end of the course.
