A reminder to all U09 and U10 teams: By policy adopted by the NYSW Membership on 11/18/2001, all U09 and U10 play in tournaments must be advertised/marketed as “Festivals” or “Jamborees.” Format of play must be round robin with no game results recorded/posted. There shall be no awards based on win/loss records for these age divisions—only participation awards for all players. Participation in tournaments that do not meet this criteria is a violation of NYSW policy and could result in your team being subject to penalties. Travel to events that do not meet this criteria will not be covered by NYSW’s insurance.

The Notification of Participation in a non-US Youth Soccer event should be used for those events that DO NOT have a US Youth Soccer Permission to Host. This includes all US Club Soccer events.
