The NYSW Academy exposes young players to focused training sessions provided by the nationally certified NYSW Coaching Staff. Each site is under the direction of a NYSW ODP Staff Coach and features a curriculum that focuses on improving a player’s technical ability and his/her tactical awareness. The six session program stresses fun and progress in a positive learning environment. The Academy welcomes youngsters ages 11 to 13 who are eager to learn and hungry to take advantage of the high quality coaching associated with the Olympic Development Program.
Each player receives an Academy training uniform as part of his/her registration fee. All Academy sessions will be held outdoor and on Sunday afternoons. Check back for exact training schedules at each location as field locations are confirmed in each host community. Register early to save money and ensure placement.
