Olympic Development Program Graduate to Play on World Cup Team
Gale Agbossoumonde (Syracuse, N.Y.) Named to Final Roster
The FIFA Under-20 World Cup will be played Sept. 24-Oct. 2 in Egypt. A central New York soccer standout will be playing for the US team. Gale Agbossoumonde has a spot on the final roster for the World Cup matches.
His trip to the World Cup began in upstate New York after leaving his native country of Pogo. In New York he played soccer for the Syracuse Blitz, Syracuse United Soccer Club, and in the NYW Olympic Development Program.
