OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2022 - 23 TRYOUTS

The 2022/23 ODP cycle will begin this fall/winter with open tryouts for both and girls born in the years '11, '10, ’09, ‘08, ’07, and ’06 (12U through 17U). 

Our traditional ODP scheduling for the 2022/23 season will include tryouts, an indoor training phase, an outdoor training phase and the eventual selection of the NYW ODP State Team that will participate in the ODP Tournament. The tryouts for the '11 - '06 birth years (12U - 17U players) are outlined below.

The 11U Pre-ODP Program which serves as developmental program for both boys and girls players born in '12/'13 (10U and 11U players) does not conduct tryouts. Click here to learn more about the 11U Pre –ODP Program.

NYW ODP will also continue to provide indoor training for both boys and girls players born in ‘04/ ’05 (19U).  The 19U ODP Program will provide training opportunities for this college prep age group, which will include indoor training, outdoor training and scrimmages (including spring games against collegiate competition).  There are no tryouts for this age group.  Simply proceed to register for ‘04/ ’05 indoor training via the online indoor training link that opens on November 1st. ODP tryouts for boys and girls players born in '09, '10 and ’11 residing within the confines of NYSWYSA will be held on September 24^th/ 25^th, 2022 at sites in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Binghamton.  Players identified at these tryouts will be asked to attend a Call-Back Tryout on October 1^st/ 2^nd, 2022 in Rochester, where the final pool will be selected. ODP tryouts for boys born in '06, '07 and '08 residing within the confines of NYSWYSA will be held on December 10^th ('08B) and 11^th ('06B and '07B) in Rochester.  For detailed information on site locations and tryout times please click here.

ODP tryouts for girls born in '06, '07 and '08 residing within the confines of NYSWYSA will be held on December 17^th ('06G and '07G) and 18^th ('08G) in Rochester.  For detailed information on site locations and tryout times please click here.

Please continue to check the NY West website periodically for updates on tryout venues and session times that are still being confirmed.  Please note that all tryout participants will be required to complete the COVID-19 Hold Harmless Waiver before taking the field for tryouts.
