The Syracuse area TOPSoccer program met twice a week for 4 weeks in June. A total of 12 players participated in the inaugural season. Each session was conducted at the Richard J. Benjamin Soccer Complex in Oswego. Sessions were coordinated by Alice Benjamin and Teddy Beers (both are adaptive phys. ed. teachers in local school districts). Parents of the players assisted each participant. While the size of the group was relatively small, the players seemed to greatly enjoy the experience.
Based on preliminary plans, the fall season will take place on Saturday afternoons in September and October at the Richard J. Benjamin Soccer Complex in Oswego.
