REGION 1 DIRECTORS CUP SUMMER LEAGUE  2004

 

 

AGES  U-13 -  U-18/19  (The U-18/19 will be a  combined age group)

 

DIVISIONS     PREMIER  &  DIVISION 1     BOYS AND GIRL S

The League will consist of two flights, premier and division 1  for both boys and girls in the Under 13,14, 15, 16, 17 and 18/19(combined) Age Groups.   Between 10-12  teams will be in each flight and within the flights two sections based on geography will be formed in an effort to reduce travel.

 

Games will generally be played on weekends and there generally would be two (2) games each weekend day.

 

SEASON    MID MAY - JULY 18^TH

 

GAMES     AT LEAST 7

 

APPLICATION  DEADLINE   MARCH 1, 2004

 

COST PER TEAM      $350 (teams to pay referees at the field for all matches)

 

PLAYOFF WEEKEND   JULY 24 & 25

 

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP   INDIANAPOLIS    JULY 30 AUGUST 1

Championships will have ODP designation.

 

ROSTER SIZE    25 PERSON  POOL ROSTER

 

There will be a flexible add and drop policy.  Teams will be allowed to multiple roster within same club organization (i.e. a U-16 can play on the U-16 team or U-17 team at the same time). Dual rostering will be allowed between the Premier Flight teams and the Division I teams.    Only 18 dress for each match.  There will be no roster freeze date.  Teams must come to the field with a copy of their pool roster and a copy of their game roster.

 

The region will issue play pass card, however each player must have a current US Youth player pass or a copy of the player pass signed by the state registrar.
