Rich Wagner has coached youth soccer for 25 years in New Jersey and New York at all age levels.  In New Jersey , he coached for the Fair Haven Soccer Club and was president of that organization for three years, which consisted of over 500 players with about 30 teams.   He lives in Painted Post, and has been active in the Corning United Soccer Club for the past 5 years, as a coach and as their webmaster.  Rich has also been active in local churches for his entire adult life, teaching Sunday school and holding a variety of administrative and leadership positions.  He and his wife Martha have four children – two in universities and two in professional positions.  Rich works for Corning Incorporated on advanced technology for fiber optics products, and he is internationally known for both technical and professional accomplishments.  Rich received BS and MS degrees from the Ohio State University in Mechanical Engineering as well as MS and PhD degrees from the University of Arizona in optical sciences.
