AGM - Preview
Saturday, November 18 will be a day filled with NY West activities. The day will start at 8:00 am with the last installment of a USSF E-level Coaching Course and followed by several field sessions for coaches, skill sessions for players and seminars for parents and club administrators. All this will take place at Total Sports Experience (TSE) on Elmgrove Rd. in Rochester. The Vendor Show - also at TSE - will open at 9:00 am and run until 3:00pm. More detail will be forthcoming shortly about the various coaching sessions and seminars. But if you have a particular topic you'd like to see addressed in a seminar or coaching session, please submit your suggestions immediately to sandyostebonyw@stny.rr.com.
The E-course will go from 5:30 to 9:30 pm on Tuesday, November 14, continue on Wednesday and Friday and finish up Saturday morning from 8:00 to 10:30 am.

After the coaching sessions are done at 2:30, the action shifts to the RIT Inn & Conference Center on West Henrietta Rd. for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 4:15 pm. The agenda and more details about the AGM will be made available in a little while, and - like last year - the various reports will be posted on our website nyswysa.org in advance of the meeting.
Following the AGM there will be a reception leading up to the Awards Dinner at 7:30 pm. Reservations for the dinner can be made by contacting the State Office: 1-800-789-4806 or office@nyswysa.org. Players as well as coaches and parent volunteers and referees will be honored at this banquet. Awards will be presented to:
- Score Boys Travel Coach of the Year
- Score Girls Travel Coach of the Year
- Boys Recreational Coach of the Year
- Girls Recreational Coach of the Year
- Volunteers of the Year
- Boys ODP Coach of the Year
- Girls ODP Coach of the Year
- Young Male Referee of the Year
- Young Female Referee of the Year
- TOPSoccer Volunteer of the Year
- TOPSoccer Buddies of the Year
