In Memory: Joseph Martuscello, Jr
Joseph William Martuscello, Jr. passed away on Nov. 24, 2006 at the age of 46 after a courageous battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Joe was employed at Caldwell Manufacturing Company, a referee for NYS West Youth Soccer Association, previous Cub Master for Boy Scouts Pack 165 and a member of Papa Joe’s Crawfish Stew Dixieland Band.
According to David Weaver, President of the Rochester Referees Unit, Joe was a very good and well-respected referee and a great mentor for many of the younger referees in the unit, including his daughter Regina and his son Tom. Joe was a strong supporter of "Fair Play" and gave 100 percent to each and every game he officiated. He was admired by all for his consistent and dedicated efforts on the field of play.
