Coaches Workshop

The annual NY West Coaches Workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m.-3.00 p.m. at Total Sports Experience on Elmgrove Road in Rochester. Glen Buckley, NYW State Director of Coaching, has lined up an outstanding group of clinicians including Mark Edwards,  Manchester United and Manchester City Academy Coach; Tony Waiters, former England international football goalkeeper and Canadian National Soccer Team Head Coach; and Paul Halford, State Director of Coaching for PA West and Region I Senior Staff member.  A complete list of sessions and special courses will be posted shortly on the NY West website, nyswysa.org

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The 25th Annual General Meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the RIT Inn & Conference Center on West Henrietta Road in Rochester. Plan now to make sure your club/league will be represented at this special event. The offices of President, Second Vice President and Secretary are up for election this year. If you are interested in one of these positions, you should send your resume by Oct. 3 to Roger Best, Chairman of the Nominating Committee, at rbest3@rochester.rr.com. Information about announced candidates and all reports will be available on the NY West website, nyswysa.org well in advance of the AGM.
