Jess Dulski of Rochester heads a list of five NYW players recently named to various NSCAA/adidas All-America teams. Joining Dulski on the Girls’ High School All-America team is Ashley Grove of Rochester, while Matt Kristek of Vestal and Matt Schuber of Webster were named to the Boys’ High School All-America squad. In addition, Gale Agbossoumonde of Syracuse was named to the Boys’ Youth All-America team.

 

NYW players also excelled in the classroom, with Kara Farnsworth of Spencerport and Laura Hansen of Pittsford earning selections to the High School Girls’ Scholar All-America team, and Josh Faga of Rochester, Conor O’Leary of Syracuse and Scott Zorn of Churchville matching that honor with selection to the Boys’ High School Scholar All-America team.

 

All will be honored during a luncheon in Baltimore on Jan. 19, in conjunction with the NSCAA National Convention. 

O’Leary also earned plaudits for his play in the ODP Christmas Interregional Event at Disney’s Soccer Showcase in Lake Buena Vista from Dec. 27-30, where he was joined by Nate Bourdeau, Jherrett Maroney, Kyle Sniatecki and Michael Reidy. Earlier, Taylor Mazursky and Ashley Walsh were selected for the Girls ODP Thanksgiving Interregional event held in Coral Springs, Fla., from Nov. 17-23.
