Tryouts Right or Wrong

Kickoff Seminar to AGM and Workshop Week

To kick off our AGM Workshop week I have been asked to add an event for club Directors of coaching, team coaches, league presidents, board members administrators, parents etc, etc….
The seminar is one that I delivered to the National workshop in Salt Lake City two years ago. The Title “Tryouts right or wrong” examines the tryout process and the needs of various age groups within the youth soccer boundaries. What ages should be trying out? Why do we hold tryouts?, How do we try out? These and other questions will be covered and discussed in an interactive fun and educational forum.

The National response was and continues to be quite remarkable with constant requests from all over the country and even other country’s for the material and for me to deliver it. Just recently a few people have asked why I have not delivered it here. There isn’t a reason really. So I thought what better way to add to the excellent sessions we have scheduled for the weekend of the 18th of November. [see complete workshop schedule at nyswysa.org]
