  • November 16, 2002 NYSWYSA Annual Awards Dinner, Boys/Girls Coaches of the Year, Parent and Volunteer of the Year, and more. Airport Marriot, W. Ridge Rd, Rochester

  • November 17, 2002 NYSWYSA Annual General Meeting, Airport Marriot, Rochester.

      The following positions are scheduled for election at the 2002 AGM:
        First Vice-President (Cup Administrator)
        Treasurer
        Second Vice-President to complete one year of a remaining term.

        Three District Commissioner spots up for re-election.

        The Districts will have elections for District Commissioner this fall:

          Rochester (Roger Best, current commissioner)
          Binghamton (Robert Sokolinsky, current commissioner)
          Twin Tiers (Sandy Ostebo, current commissioner)
      In the next month, election details will be arranged and announcements of dates, times and locations will be posted on the website and mailed to clubs in each district. Every club in good standing has a vote or votes, based on their number of registered players.

      Anyone interested in standing for election to one of these positions may submit his/her name and get more information by contacting Dan Watson at the state office. Details are also available in the NYSWYSA by laws, posted on this website.
