Welcome Omer Doron

NYSW's New Executive Director

NYSW would like you to meet our new Executive Director, Omer Doron.  Omer comes to us by way of Connecticut where he recently graduated from the University of New Haven with his Master of Business Adminstration degree.  He also has worked for IBM in a Business Development group.  Along with his education and business background, he brings a soccer prespective with experience as a professional player in Israel, college player and coach (both recreational and premier).

        Established new reporting structure for these vastly different operations, drawing on my multi-tasking and strong analytical skills

        Managed 25 representatives during their shift in a telemarketing business

        Responsible for smooth operations, including scheduling, forecasting, and analysis of personal needs

 

Israeli Defense Forces Israel                                                                    

        Served in the Israeli Defense Force as a commander, including seeing military action

        Participated in different command courses, as well as in specific unit-related courses in the anti-aircraft field

        Involved in fostering young talent into becoming future IDF commanders

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

Head Coach, South Central Premier Southern CT                                   

        Direct all activities of a youth soccer team that competes at the premier level against regional teams, including indoor and outdoor games, and out-of-state tournaments

        Craft and implement advanced individual programs for improving technical and tactical performance for premier soccer players

      Played professional soccer from 1994 through 1999
