About New York West State Cup
The New York State West Youth Soccer Association will crown its State Cup champions at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex in the summer of 2025. After lifting the trophy for their respective age groups, New York West State Cup champions will earn the opportunity to play in the US Youth Soccer (USYS) Eastern Regional Championships in Loudon, Virginia.
As mentioned, New York West State Cup Champions become eligible for the USYS Eastern Regional Championships. Regional winners at the 13U age group and above will then move onto the USYS National Championships in July at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. New York West State Cup is part of the USYS National Championships Presented by New York Life, which is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament. The competition provides winners from each state with the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
2025 Blind Draw Details
The schedules showing the Playdown Game match-ups have been posted. Teams can begin scheduling their games at this time.
The Blind Draw for the 2025 NYSW State Cup was held on Monday, December 16 at 6:00pm via Zoom. Following are the results of the Blind Draw showing All Bracket Details:

2025 State Cup Calendar
- 10/1/24: Registration Opens
- 12/2/24: Registration Closes at 6:00 PM
- 12/11/24: Preliminary Rosters for Returning Final Four Teams to Demonstrate Roster Continuity Due at 6:00 PM
- 12/16/24: Blind Draw – 6 PM Zoom Meeting
- 12/17/24: Play Down Match-Ups Released
- Flexible self-scheduling begins (Process Details). Games can be played from 3/1/25 to 5/17/25. Home Team must provide field for game .
- 2/7/25: Roster Freeze Deadline at 6:00 PM. Birth certificates must be uploaded for all players on State Cup roster for approval.
- 2/14/25: Playdown Game Schedules due by 5:00 PM. The schedule for all games must be provided at this time. Any unscheduled games will be scheduled at a Date/Time/Location determined by NYSW.
- 3/1/25: Playdown games to begin after this date. All rosters will be approved prior to this date.
- 4/26/25 to 4/27/25: ODP Development Weekend
- 5/15/25: Roster Freeze for 19U Boys, 13U & 19U Girls at 5:00 PM. Late roster freeze due to no playdown games.
- 5/17/25: Completion Deadline for All Games
- 5/18/25: Rain Date if needed for reschedules only.
- 5/28/25: Mandatory Meeting for State Cup Finalists at 7:30 PM via Zoom.
- 5/30/25 to 6/1/25: State Cup in Cortland, New York (May 31 is an SAT Test Date)
- 6/6/25 to 6/8/25: East Region ODP Tournament
- 6/27/25 to 7/3/25: USYS Eastern Regional Championships in Loudon, Virginia
- 7/22/25 to 7/27/25: USYS National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida
As a reminder: If you are participating in State Cup and have players born outside of the United States, the International Transfer Clearance (ITC) process must be completed for each player prior to the first playdown match.
